Senior UKG Implementation Developer

Position – Senior UKG Implementation Developer
Experience – 6-8 Years
Location – Permanent work from home role
Education – MCA, B.E/B-Tech-Computers, Any Degree in Computers
Shift timing – 9 AM to 6PM (Flexible for Australian Shift)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Client Needs Analysis: During the initial stages, responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their unique business goals, pain points, and workflows related to HR processes. This analysis helps determine the most suitable UKG solution (e.g., UKG Pro, UKG Pro WFM) and its configuration.

  • Solution Design & Configuration: Leveraging the expertise in UKG products, to configure the software to match the client’s specific needs. This involves customizing settings, workflows, integrations, and data mapping to ensure the system aligns with their existing HR processes.

  • Testing & Go-Live Support: To play a vital role in developing and executing a comprehensive testing strategy, including coordinating the testing of UKG configuration and integrated solutions.

  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Effective knowledge transfer is crucial. To Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate the client team on using the UKG system effectively.

Additional Responsibilities (may vary):

  • Data Migration & Integration: You might be involved in migrating data from existing HR systems to UKG or integrating UKG with other enterprise software like payroll or timekeeping systems.

  • Change Management: Helping the client navigate the change associated with implementing a new HR system can be important.

  • Post-Go-Live Support: Providing ongoing support after the system launch is essential. This might involve troubleshooting any issues that arise, answering user questions, and offering guidance on optimizing UKG functionalities for the client’s needs.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of UKG Implementation experience

  • In-depth knowledge of UKG Pro, UKG Pro WFM, or other relevant UKG HCM products.

  • Prior participation in multiple UKG implementations (or major projects) for large, enterprise firms

  • Deep expertise with UKG WFC setup including Timekeeper, Accruals, Device Manager, Attestation, and Security/Access Profiles, Scheduling and Rostering, Labor Forecasting, Analytics Business Structures

  • Experience with Kronos Custom Reporting

  • 4+ years of experience in Workforce Management, Payroll, and/or HR technology

  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills to manage implementation timelines and resources effectively.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear explanations.
